LG unveil the GD880i Mini with Mobile World Congress
February 17th, 2010 by joeO
The emergence of touchscreen technology as a staple in phone design has had both positive and negative consequences. The positive is obvious; touchscreen adds a new depth of interactivity for the consumer as well as a whole host of other features that just wouldn’t work without touchscreen. The negative is also obvious, glaringly so. It’s that brick on your desk, the big bulge in the back pocket of your jeans. Yes, it is the increase in size I’m talking about.
This is why LG have unveiled the visually stunning GD880i at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The fittingly named ‘Mini’...

February 15th, 2010 by joeO
Everyone has their own idea of what makes Life Good. For some this could be spending time with their family, for others it may well be the success of their favourite football team. For me, it’s definitely the time I crowd surfed onto stage with my favourite band!
LG are asking members of the public to submit a photo of their Life’s Good Moments to their online gallery, a selection of which will be shown each month on LG’s famous screen in Piccadilly Circus and on the giant screens at the LG Arena Birmingham. The Life’s Good Moment with the most...

LG GW620 Android phone – A messaging marvel!
February 11th, 2010 by joeO
Another day, another legitimate reason to play with my phone in the office. The GW620 is packed with excellent features, so I decided it was time to try some of them out, rather than just browse the Android market for apps all day long!
One feature I was keen on testing out was the threaded messaging, so in the name of research I started texting like a teenager possessed. If you’re anything like me then frequently you will find yourself struggling to remember what you wrote in your last message. Thankfully the GW620 links all texts onto one thread so they...

Introducing the LG HS200 LED Projector
February 9th, 2010 by joeO
Moving house a lot? Tired of buying a new TV to fit into a different space? As an alternative why not consider the LG HS200 projector which can project any size up to 120 inches.
As I am sure most of you are aware, the great thing about a projector is that you can easily choose your required picture size by simply adjusting the distance between the projector and the surface on which you choose to project. Previously though projectors have lacked the picture quality of plasma or LCD displays, and the cumbersome size has hardly made them portable.
“LG’s interest lies...
